Daily Bread

"Two things I ask of you, LORD; do not refuse me before I die:

Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches,

But give me only my daily bread." Proverbs 30:8-9 TNIV

We miss the depth of this statement, much like Manna and Gratitude rolled together in thanks for our provision.

We have reduced this to a few seconds of rarely spiritual words of Grace and blessing food.

We must be filled in Gratitude to have Grace ~ Communion in Natures Provision for its Blessing.

As in our full "Manna" our daily provision for feeding Mind ~ Body ~ Spirit in Wholeness

Hospitality

Hospitality is Shared Provision

Not your portion and mine for it belongs to our creation and gift of provision.

The American Indian much like the Nomadic Abraham in same hospitality ~ Land and all on it was not owned.

Ancient hospitality was acted out many times, Christ teaching later was restoring and defining it to a modern world.

This first mention to contrast the Nomadic Hospitality, with Lot's choice of Sodom that showed none and destroyed.

Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.   He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord,  do not pass your servant by.   Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree.   Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant."  "Very well," they answered, "do as you say."   So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. "Quick," he said, "get three seahs of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread."  Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it.   He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them.
